Famous Belgian Waffles

I have always loved waffles since I was a kid. Seeing this booth in SM Megamall, I just couldn't resist the urge of trying it out. I have chosen the combination of Blueberry Creamcheese Belgian Waffle that costs Php55 and a Malaysian Coffee (a 3 in 1 mix - Chek Hup is the brand) for only Php35 to go with it.

The waffle tastes awesome! You won't mind spending Php55 for this as compared with the Waffle in Starbucks Coffee (though it really is bigger than this). This is more practical, you could purchase from Php30. It becomes more expensive depending on your choice of fillings. The coffee is perfect! I have even thought of buying a second cup but had forced myself not to. I don't think too much coffee by that hour is good, it was 8 in the evening anyway.

The waffles are meant to be enjoyed right away but if you must store them for later, then you must follow their instruction:
1. Place the waffle in a ziplock bag.
2. Chill for up to 3 days.
3. When ready to consume, reheat in an oven toaster for 2-3 minutes.

The Famous Belgian Waffles is located at the SM Foodcourt besides Henlin (previously Hungarian Sausage), Building A, in SM Megamall.

Plus! The sales crew are very friendly!

da.u.de - Hot Tea

If you are crazy about premium tea, then this place is definitely what you are looking for. They have a whole lot to offer. From the unique and rare loose-leaf teas, they also serve breakfast, hot and cold appetizers, tartines, sandwiches, pasta, and desserts.

This tea lounge is being managed by the Philippines' 1st Certified Tea Master, Renee Sebastian. This is a place for discerning tea lovers, located in Net Lima Building on 4th Avenue and 26th Street Bonifacio Global City Taguig, Philippines.

I have tried Pink Chai and Kehwah from the CHAI Selection, and Spring Tip Jasmine from the Green Tea selection. The place is cozy and unique. You'll even forget that you are in Metro Manila. The tea lounge would make your imagination work, making you feel like you are in New York City. I still have a lot in mind to try out and I'm very much looking forward to my next visit.

This tea lounge is highly recommended.

Cafe Nova (SUPER Coffeemix Brand)

I was intrigue the moment I saw this SUPER Coffeemix Brand, known as Cafe Nova. It has a vibrant packaging that is  really an eye candy. This product is from Singapore. Having heard of it, some say that each pack tells a story. Cafe Nova is epitomized by six young and trendy illustrated characters: Goldie, Damien, Oscar, Azure, Camos, and Jade. I have tried out Oscar.

Cafe Nova uses the finest Arabica freeze-dried coffee beans, it is rich in aroma, and has an intense flavor. This is perfect for the coffee lovers. But if you're simply an average coffee drinker, I would say that this is probably not your choice.

I has a strong bitter taste, not creamy, and definitely not sweet.
I'm not sure where this could be purchased, but my friend got this directly in Singapore.

SALADA Green Tea

Green tea helps reduce the risk of cancer.  It helps with your body weight loss as it burns fat and boosts your metabolism rate naturally.  I often get cold and fever.  But ever since I started drinking green tea, I can say that I have felt even healthy than I actually did before.

If you don't like the bitter taste in a green tea beverage, I suggest that you try SALADA Green Tea.  It has an original antioxidant, as the packaging shows.  And it is citrus flavored.  It is also naturally decaffeinated.  SALADA Green Tea tastes good compared to the other green tea that I have tried.  This is perfect to those who are still in the process of getting used to drinking green tea.  You can mix it with honey to sweeten.. and you could even enjoy it cold.

I was able to buy SALADA Green Tea at Market Market, for only Php164.  You can find the product at the leftmost corner of the supermarket, at the US Products section to be more specific.  It contains 20 tea bags.

I'm giving my two thumbs up for this product! You should give it a try too.

this is how the packaging looks

the package contains 20 tea bags that is individually wrapped, you could bring it with you if you want
